The comparison/How we compared

How we compared these sites

We publish CamsFinder, so a comparison table from us is only worth reading if the rules behind it are visible, and they are on this page. Every competitor cell has to come from that competitor own public pages, everything else says not checked, and there is deliberately no overall score. All four sites were read on 2 September 2026, and the same date is on the table, on each of the three detail pages and inside the machine readable snapshot.

The evidence rule

A cell about CamGirlFinder, CamSpider or FindInCams is filled in only when the claim can be read on a page that site itself serves. That means its home page, the pages linked from it, its structured data, and its robots file. It does not mean a screenshot, a memory, a press mention or a third party review. When a fact is not on those pages, the cell reads not checked, and not checked means exactly that: we did not find it, not that it does not exist.

Marking a cell not checked is the honest answer far more often than people expect. Three of the four sites here publish only one or two pages, so most of what a thorough comparison would want to say about them simply has no public source. Filling those gaps with confident sentences is how comparison pages become advertising.

The CamsFinder column is held to a different standard, not a lower one

We know CamsFinder from the inside, so every claim in its column is written to be checkable from the outside. Each one names the route it lives at. If the cell says there are six head to head comparisons, six comparison pages exist and are listed in the sitemap. If it says there is a takedown form, the form has a URL. Where a route exists in the code but is not currently serving indexable content, we do not count it: an earlier draft of this table cited alternative pages at /alternative/platform, and those routes return a not found response today, so the claim came out rather than being softened.

What we checked, and when

Everything on this site was checked on 2 September 2026. Live cam sites change quickly, and comparison tables rot faster than most pages, so the date is on the table rather than buried. Specifically we read, for each competitor, the home page as served to a plain request, every page linked from that home page, the structured data in the head of the document, and the robots file if one was returned.

For CamsFinder we checked the live site, its sitemap and the routes defined in its own codebase, which is the only way to be precise about what exists rather than what is planned.

The same record is published as a small JSON file at /data/snapshot.json: the four sites, the pages read for each, the platform lists each one names, and the check date. It carries no performer names and no live counts, and its dateModified is 2026-09-02. If you want to quote this comparison, quote that file and the date in it rather than the table cell alone, because the cell will move when a competitor publishes something new.

Why there is no score

A single number would compress three genuinely different products into one axis and hide the only thing that matters: which question each site answers. CamGirlFinder searches faces. CamSpider filters one platform in enormous depth. FindInCams targets the same platform through an API. CamsFinder indexes many platforms and publishes reading material around the index. A ranking would tell you we came first, which is exactly what you would expect from a table we wrote, and it would not help you choose.

What would change a cell

A published page. If one of these sites puts up a record keeping statement, a copyright notice route, a set of reviews or anything else a cell currently marks not checked, the cell changes and the date at the top of the table moves. The same goes for anything we got wrong: if a claim here does not match the page it cites, we would rather correct it than argue. The CamsFinder contact page reaches the people who maintain this site.

Conflicts of interest, stated plainly

CamsFinders.com is run by the CamsFinder team. CamsFinder is funded by affiliate links to the cam platforms, which means when someone follows a link from CamsFinder to a platform and signs up, CamsFinder may be paid. That is true of most sites in this category, including at least one of the three compared here, which says so on its own home page. It does not change what is in a cell, because every cell has a source, but you should know it before you read the table. The comparison and the three detail pages, CamGirlFinder, CamSpider and FindInCams, are written to survive that disclosure.
